Lina Maya
Lina Maya is a Colombian-American Actress who currently lives in Miami, Florida. She grew up in Medellin, attended a Catholic school since kindergarten and found passion for the arts at a very young age. Her drawings and painting were often part of exposition around the city and she participated on various singing contest representing her school and once participated for her state finishing in the top three. At the age of fourteen, Lina moved to Tampa, Florida and dedicated her time in getting used to her new surroundings, learning the language and attending school. She went to College in Tampa, Florida for Mass Communications and graduated with a Bachelors in the Science of Journalism and Mass Communications from Florida International University in Miami where she currently resides. After graduating FIU she found in acting her real passion. She has been training and pursuing this career since, and in a short time, she has participated in various Spanish soup operas with Nbc's Telemundo channel, Univision and Venevision. She had principal roles in a few Spanish short films and has participated in various theater plays in the Miami area. She is currently looking into broadening her horizon and getting participation in more projects involving the English market.
